Maybe its laziness, but the ability to post on my Facebook and it to appear throughout my twitter is one of my favourite tricks and allows me to increase the exposure of my comments through including hash tags and having access to those who are only on one of the specific sites.  It is doubtful that we are going to see Google+ having an official plug in or setting in the near future, so it has fallen to the extensions and add-on’s marketplace to create an answer.

In my quest to link my Google+, Twitter and Facebook, I discovered PublishSync, a Google Chrome add-on which allows users to post throughout Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Digg, Myspace, Sina, QQ and Plurk at the click of a button. To install and get the program up and running do the following:

Step 1: Go to http://goo.gl/0zKHR in your Chrome browser

Step 2: Click on Add to Chrome and click install on the small pop up which follows.

Step 3: If your passwords are saved by Chrome this add on will automatically request permission to access these account, which you can allow by clicking on the allow Access button in the bottom right.

Step 4: For those accounts which are not added automatically, click on the little  icon on the top right (next to the spanner toolbar button).  Clicking on this button will reveal the Publishsync drop down which will allow you to click on the icons below and log in to the various other social media sites supported.

Step 5: Go to Facebook/Twitter/Linkedin/etc .com and begin a post, noticing the small check boxes now appearing at the bottom of the post box.  Clicking on one of the check boxes will include the relative site, posting your message on to those sites as well as that which you are visiting.

Publishsync are one of several tools which allow users to publish across multiple social sites, however I have found it to be my favourite and allow for the most discreet, user friendly ability to post across platforms.
